Follow your Passion
“I was made for the city!” my daughter announced after a family trip to New York City. She was energized by the activity and excitement. She loved that we walked to our various destinations and that there was always something interesting to watch or do.
So what are you made for? What excites you? What do you enjoy so much that you lose track of time when you’re doing it?
We were all created for work, but we’re also created to worship. When these two things intersect, we find that sweet place of contentment and joy in doing what we were created to do. God has gifted you with talents and interests and although these can change over the course of our lifetime, He wants us to share our gifts and talents with the world around us.
I challenge you to find ways to use them for His glory. You’ll reap a harvest and the world will be a brighter place as others will see Jesus in you.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights. James 1:17
